INTRO
The most valuable lesson I learned during my years as an entrepreneur was how to design while keeping product strategy and business goals in mind. My shift from corporate work to the startup ecosystem was driven by the desire to understand how to validate a business idea, create a product from scratch, and make it profitable. Additionally, after years as a consultant, I was eager to put my ideas into practice—shaping how an organization should operate, building a positive company culture, and supporting my teammates’ growth.
BACKGROUND
I took the decision to study a B.A. in Fine Arts in order to apply my creative skills in a more theoretical and structured way. During these years I found that the best way to apply my creativity to anything was the Graphic Design. Graphic Design has a purpose, it's a visual language to communicate an idea, feeling, service, product...etc. During my Erasmus grant, I discovered how to apply my knowledge in multimedia design, web design could have the same purpose as graphic design but it was a new and huge variety of devices, a lot of different ways to use up information and interact with that. This discovery and the search about how to do it better take me to the User Experience field.
The first work experience in a User Experience Team was as a trainee consultant in everis, first as an Art Director, then as a Visual Designer. As I got involved in more projects, I needed to understand all the roles more. I started with Interaction Design and User Research. The last two years I was managing and executing end-to-end projects for several sectors:
